Youth and Education @ RLC

Scenes from the Christmas program 2009.

Education at Rushford Lutheran Church is a life long experience. Our family education program has nearly 160 students from three-year-olds to high school students each week. The confirmation, or affirmation of Baptism, program is a chance for young Christians to grow in their faith, learn about the Catechism and Bible and grow in fellowship with one another. The program kicks off in September. f

Adult education experiences focus on Bible study through adult forums, women's Bible study, and prayer fellowship. Check out Getting Involved for more information.

Upcoming Activities

For the month of September...

Come join the Confirmation Class with their service project! On Saturday, September 18, we’ll be heading to Eagan, Minnesota, to hand-pack life-saving meals for the Feed My Starving Children program. Forty-five (45) can participate in this wonderful, feel-good program. Volunteer drivers will be needed. You must be at least in 6th grade to attend.

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian
organization committed to "Feeding God's Starving Children Hungry in Body and Spirit."  To give you a little insight, Feed My Starving Children offers hope to the hungry in body around the world. In 2007, 185,000 volunteers – more than half of which were under age 18 – manually assembled 43 million meals for hungry children, helping to heal the world of the hurt of hunger.

Help represent RLC by participating!!
