Sunday, May 19, Rushford Lutheran recognized it’s Class of 2019. Pastor Steve and the Family Education Committee shared breakfast with the seniors at 8 AM followed by recognition during the 9 AM worship service. The 2019 seniors are Jaelyn Connaughty, Chealsy Eide, Faith Eide, Shayna Hanson, Kjersta Hinz, Abby Hoegh, Brendon Honken, Cameron Johnson, Cole Knutson, Lauren Lawston, Megan Oian, Landon Skalet, Elizabeth Stiever, and Brennan Volkman. These seniors were each gifted with a quilt made by our RLC lady quilters. Linda Paulson and Carol Lukkason distributed these quilts at the 9 AM service to the graduates. A little memento when they need a hug, reminder of faith or just to stay warm.
In addition, the RLC Servanthood Scholarships were awarded to Jaelyn Connaughty, Faith Eide, Kjersta Hinz and Cole Knutson. Each receiving $500 after completing their first semester of continued education. We wish this class the very best as they begin a new chapter in their lives and continue to grow in their faith journey.
Thank you to everyone that came out and participated in the RLCW salad luncheon. You made it a huge success!! Ladies don’t forget to pick up your containers from the kitchen.
